Honestly, what difference does it make how the stock performed 6 years ago. The way a stock has performed that far in the past has no influence on how it will perform in the future. If I could recomend some reading, "a random walk down walstreet" References : Monmouth College Business Finance 307
Yahoo! Finance charts and Big Charts provide excellent comprehensive data for research and analysis. Ten years of economic data is much more valuable than half the amount. Charts expecially are imprints of a company’s experience through changing business cycles. The Compounded Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) for a company over10 years provides much more definition of its current value than a 5-year chart can show. AT&T and Abbott Labs illustrate this point very well.

Google has only been around as a publicly traded company for less then 5 years, thats why you can’t get a 10 year chart on it!!!
